Dr. Amy Chisholm

Amy Chisholm is a clinical psychologist who specialises in treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Amy has worked for many years treating PTSD in trauma survivors from a variety of backgrounds including refugees / asylum seekers, military veterans, survivors of disasters and survivors of childhood abuse. Amy currently works as the clinical lead in London for a large charity in the United Kingdom working with refugees who have survived human rights abuses. In this role she oversees the implementation of an evidence-based holistic model of treatment for the impact of trauma.  She is also involved in teaching and supervising on PTSD treatment courses for Cognitive Therapy for PTSD and for Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), and continues to research and publish in the field of psychological trauma. Amy has a particular interest in developing the skills and confidence of therapists in treating PTSD and enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for this life-changing work.
